It really will. Doesn't mean it won't hurt like hell the whole way there but it will change and you'll grow and they'll grow and before you know it you'll have made a new bedtime routine that you all love and that you built together. Hang in there ❤️

They'll just need to feel it for a little while, just like you. Be honest with them, you'll both appreciate it.

You might not even need to explain. Sitting with them and their feelings and letting them know that however they're feeling is totally okay is helpful. When they're insistent on some kind of answers it's okay to tell them you don't know and I promise that it isn't hurting them to say that.
