I wonder if there will ever be any real pushback on legalized sports betting, or if there’s just too much wealth to be extracted from the lower and middle classes for a Come to Jesus moment to occur. You’d expect some form of dissent from social conservatives, but I don’t see a temperance movement.

The MVA is so vague when it comes to cyclists and the myriad of ways that cars make our daily transport extremely dangerous

Would it not be clearer to update the MVA and simply say "Automobile operators shall not pass other vehicles on streets narrower than 6m"? The speed of the other vehicle (whether car or bike) becomes immaterial and the speed of side streets is reduced. Win win.
