My last surg I wrote on my mask "Please replace in PAR." OR nurse saw writing and asked what it said, then promise to replace it before I left OR. I awoke in PAR with it on. Hope you avoid the OR for a long while!

Correct. In medicine we talk about "tetanus-prone" wounds meaning a deep puncture with a non-sterile object, but any wound contaminatined by debris from ground, skin, clothing etc. has the potential to introduce tetanus spores.

And if the gathering is at your house, park on the street beforehand so you maintain an escape route.

My guess, experience with drug diversion either personally or during residency. Or control freak. Or never had surgery themselves. Same problem with no one giving advice on what supplies to lay in for post-op period. Perhaps GP would write Rx for you to pick up early.

Might be an MD (not US educated). Did not finish her Surgery residency (so not Stanford educated). Not a Physician if she does not hold a license to practice though.

"Stop" to stop the Liberals, or to stop the messages (Conservatives). I'm confused.

Pharmacists love talking to patients, especially when they get paid to do so ( which I imagine will happen under these "clinics".

Not a replacement for MD for sure. But even back in the Dark ages when I went through, we were taught rudiments of dx and counselling WRT OTC meds and when Dr consultation was required. As long as it's done within their scope and training, ok. Problem when presented as replacing MD.

Pharmacists do carry malpractice (liability) insurance through their Associations (in the Provinces I'm familiar with)

I am very glad my anesthetists (and surgeons) were paid for the entire period of my surgeries. Also for the nurses and techs who were paid as well. And that there was no profit for the hospitals or CEOs.

At least the lack of increase in mortality is a relative good. I wonder if the early detection increases or decreases iatrogenic morbidity.

Would detecting early stage endocrine cancer be a good thing? IE more treatable? I wonder about the mortality of this compared to adenocarcinoma.
