Within a weeks time, Colbert was canceled, PBS and NPR were defunded, and Trump threatened to sue conservative news outlets like the Wall Street Journal and NewsCorp over revelations related to Epstein. I dunno guys, this kinda looks like an open attempt at authoritarian control of the media.

When I was little, the U.S. military came to our home at gunpoint and took me and my family away. We were imprisoned for years in barbed wire camps simply because we were Japanese American. I have spent my life telling that story, hoping it would never be repeated.

WTF?!? Border Czar Tom Homan claimed that ICE and Border Patrol agents don’t need probable cause to detain people they suspect are undocumented, saying they can do so based on factors like physical appearance. This is straight-up racial profiling, not law enforcement.

The people who lost children and other loved ones in the Texas floods are owed honest answers from officials. They should be told why flash flood warnings issued hours earlier were not conveyed to people in the path of the water. They don’t need more prayers from politicians. They need answers.

All roads lead back to Project 2025. All anybody had to do before the election was to read the damn thing.

I am grieving the barbarism that is going to unfurl from all this. People are going to die. Livelihoods gone. All to feed a corrupt kleptocracy.

I see every day up close how different it is from the first time around. There are no guardrails. A disaster. I’m sorry we have to live through this.
