We held an “arts salon” for friends and family last night, and as my contribution I decided to do some baking. A first try at maracrons (definitely could be improved, but they were tasty!) and two loaves of vanilla challah.

I saw @acerbicotter.bsky.social do this, which made me wonder about myself. So here is me pre-pandemic (Jan 2020) and now(ish) (Dec 2025). Not a perfect comparison because my hair was up in ‘20, but more grey hair now, my face is fuller, but with more lines. Not shown: ~6 years of intense disruption
