Today, @bmok.bsky.social and I took a pottery wheel class at Throw Clay LA, walked around the Americana in Glendale, ate dinner at The Cheesecake Factory under the watchful gaze of the Eye of Sauron, and ended the night with churros and chocolate at El Moro. Beautiful day!

And then my love got me a limited edition Annabel Lee roller ball pen for our anniversary. He told me he wanted me to have something nice for my sketches. 🥹

I want everyone who has spent years in therapy wondering what is wrong with them, wondering why they had so many bad relationships, why they felt so much dread, to know that it was in part because you were living in a world run by evil, evil people and you could tell that somewhere deep down

I have officially finished my watch-through of Game of Thrones and, y'all...I get it. Those last two episodes are really something, aren't they? 🫠😬

I met my friends Shelly and Kate in a park over lunch to chat and write today, and wouldn't you know it, it healed my soul little. I got over 500 words down in a new story, shared snacks with friends, and got diverted by an active, beautiful protest on the way home. Okay, Friday, okay. 🥰

While running some errands around lunchtime, we visited our favorite shop dog, Oso, who works at Gogosha Optique in Echo Park. There were many carrots and commands and snuggles. We also had lunch at Monty's Good Burger. 10/10 for all of it. Would recommend!

Wouldn't you know it, I channeled my rage into finishing a story today. A very angry story about exes and cockroaches. 🪳😈
