It's been years since I've watched this, but it was one of my favorites growing up. This and The Brave Little Toaster. Watched both those tapes many, many times.

We're here to experience nature, not your music played over some crummy speaker that's somehow both tinny and way too bassy.

Also, also, my husband and I have been watching Columbo, too! We picked up the Blu-rays from Kino, and the rescan of the film looks superb. It's the only mystery show I've ever been able to get him interested in. He actually requests that we watch it, rather than just tolerating it.

The books are excellent. Which shades my reaction to the movie (a bit too much leeway with the adaptation in places).
