The set's gameplay seems fun, and creates some truly silly board-states (lore-wise).

Sorry Gran-Gran, Sokka's on Azula's team now, and is fighting you. Don't mind Combustion Man in that big iceberg either.

Fun times at the Avatar draft! Despite reading basically no spoilers and not playing the set at all over the last weekend, managed to 3-0!

My deck was a real nice WB valuetown go-wide list with a solid removal suite. Almost everything 2 for 1'd. Cardboard theory gets it done. 🏆

Been doing some for-funsies personal website maintenance today, so I put together a little zone for my Magic hobby/commanders. Super cool that @moxfield.com supports decklist embeds! I had no idea that was a thing till today.

Went to a Christmas themed cocktail bar last night, and while being lead to my table, my server asked if I was having a good night so far.

It was loud in there, so I didn’t hear them well. I assumed their question was if I’d ever been there before, since the bar was also new.

“Nope! 😁”

Decided to do a bit of spreadsheet math to see how many words are in my game, and uhhhhh, I accidentally wrote a novella's worth of game text. 14992 words!

Whoops.

Only took me like a month and like 35 big .csvs full of new string constants, but I think I got the game ready for localization! (more or less)

I'm certain all of my dumb flavor text and jokes will translate perfectly in other languages.

Also, I can listen to King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard again - my mixtape playlists are saved.

Moved over to Tidal, wasn't too hard. A bit cheaper too! (I don't really listen to podcasts or audiobooks, so a bit of a no-brainer tbh)

Did a little write-up of my D&D session yesterday. Mostly for self-reference, but you can follow along at home if you like!

For characters, we got:

- Red - Lizardfolk Ranger (fresh out the swamp, new to the world)
- Hemlock - Fairy Wizard (entirely fed up with fairy whimsy)
- Snuffy - Harengon Barbarian (jus a bunny, but angry)
- Bramblewine - Halfling Bard (creatively bankrupt)

Good session 0.5! Characters all rolled up, and my players made some solid progress trying out various carnival attractions, including a pretty close snail race.

Too snowy, taking transit lmao

Woo, session 0.5 for the new campaign today! Will need to walk through the snow to get there, but hey, “that’s gaming”.

Started up on Hades 2 tonight. Game is sweet.

Oh, and D&D tomorrow!

Pretty good weekend so far - watched some movies, nice big walk around the city today, baked some taro chips.

Inu-Oh was great!

Sweet draft night tonight. We did a Duskmourn draft since packs were cheap, and I put together a pretty awesome WB reanimator deck. Card quality out the wazoo. Easy 3-0! 🏆

Figured out a way to seriously cut down load times for the initial load in my game today, so that's pretty nice. I know people dunk on the Steam forums, but I get some good feedback there.

Been a bit, so we're starting up a new campaign! Lookin' like 5.5e D&D, just due to familiarity more than anything else. Should be fun with the usual crew!

Gonna have a lizardfolk ranger, and a few as of yet unknown other characters. Thinkin' something in the feywilds.
