A Carved Embrace in a Welsh Churchyard 🪦🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
This sculpture by Bulgarian artist Pencho Dobrev can be found among the gravestones at St Cadoc’s Church in Caerleon, south Wales.
Sheltered beneath the tree, it was carved during the 2006 Caerleon Sculpture Symposium.

I love the new LGBTQ+ stained glass window at Belfast City Hall. It's absolutely stunning.

Blanc manger from Harleian 4016 (circa 1450) & Curye on Inglysch (late C14).
One of the most 'standard' dishes across Europe meaning 'white dish' with chicken (or fish) rice, almond milk, sugar & rosewater as the main ingredients. It was also served to Henry VIII and Anne on July 29th 1533.

Entertaining Henry is performing 20-22 June at The Quay Theatre in Sudbury, Suffolk - three days, six plays, one king. There is a discount if you book for more than one day, and plenty else to do in the area - Kentwell Hall is down the road with Tudor re-enactments that weekend! #history #pilgrimage
