A little confused. Not sure who this is, but I saw one of their posts in my feed and liked it/screenshot it. I tried to look up the page a half an hour later to read some more of their posts and couldnβt find it. Found out shortly after that I had been blocked. Not sure what I did.

09.01.2025 03:15 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Permanently deleted Facebook today. It felt really good. Might permanently delete my X account later today.
08.01.2025 20:38 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I had no idea they actually sold this. Iβve always bought the neoguri and chapagetti separately and then mixed them together when cooking. Game changer!!!
08.01.2025 20:36 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0As it god damn should be.
06.01.2025 16:55 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Looks like this yearβs Oscarβs will be less predictable than last yearβwhich has me excited. After two years of heavy predictability in a row, itβll be fun to watch a more surprising ceremony. I would love to see Demi Moore take home her first Oscar.
06.01.2025 16:54 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Anyways, my predictions moving forward is that the smaller/more prestige films are going to lead the way this year. Dune Part Two and Nosferatu are both in my top 5 of the year so far and I would like to see them have better chances. However, Iβm really pumped to see The Brutalist in a couple weeks.
06.01.2025 16:54 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0My biggest takeaway from The Golden Globes is that awards bodies (at least so far) donβt seem to be impressed by the event films of 2024. A bummer in my eyes. I believe Nosferatu should be receiving as much praise and awards buzz as Dune Part Two and Wicked have been getting.
06.01.2025 16:54 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Iβll also add that category fraud has been rampant in the Golden Globes for a while. The Martian (2015) was in the comedy category. Iβm sure thereβs similar examples further back in time as well.
06.01.2025 16:36 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Last night, I took an edible and went to see Hundreds of Beavers. It was one of the best theatrical experiences of my life.
05.01.2025 22:41 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Just saw someone post about exercising with portable cd players back in the day. And it got me nostalgic. I remember playing my cds off of this thing in my car back when I was 19. I borrowed a DC to AC power converter from my dad to power my laptop speakers since the ones in my car didnβt work.

Since Dec 4, about 5589 Americans have died preventable deaths under Americaβs exploitative for profit health system.
Soβwhen do CEOs who enabled these deaths go on trial?

Whenever I read Sausage Fingerβs truth social posts, all I see is an angry little boy. Desperately trying to hurt and bring as many people down with him as he can. If he canβt get his way (controlling how the entire world sees him), then heβll burn the house down. If he canβt win, then no one can.
03.01.2025 19:29 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This is how my narcissistic brother sounds when heβs pissed off. Disrespectful, incapable of looking inward, blaming others for things that are his own fault, projecting his own flaws and fears outward towards others, attempting to speak his reality into existence (desperately seeking control).
03.01.2025 19:29 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It's easy to despair. 2024 was a tough year, and 2025 will be tough too. But last year ended with historic Amazon, Starbucks, and rent strikes. These get less attention than elections, but this wave of class warfare has the potential to change history.

Showed my three year-old The Hunchback of Notre Dame today. And I noticed via the lyrics of Topsy Turvy that the Festival of Fools takes place on January 6th.
So is it cool if we now refer to Jan 6, 2021 as The Festival of Fools?
Completely agreed. On the one hand, I constantly think about deleting all of my social media because it fuels that anxiety/adhd side effect of always feeling that Iβm in the wrong.
But on the other hand, Iβm a creative and social media is a huge part of that.
The world we live in fucking sucks.

there's a scene in Gladiator 2 where they fill up the Colosseum with water and a guy yells out something about Poseidon. i cannot help but respect how little Ridley Scott gives a fuck about history

However, to anyone who is complaining that this is βjust another remakeβ, I invite you to watch both of Guadagninoβs remakes alongside their source Material: Suspiria (1974) and (2018) + La Piscine (1969) and A Bigger Splash (2015). Guadagnino does things differently.
