26.01.2025 01:40 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yeah I didnβt love any of the OL there and Iβm sure the Bengals donβt want to enter the draft forced into drafting any specific position if they can help it.
26.01.2025 01:39 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Check out a new mock draft with a little note for each player and also check out Joe Goodberrys new video on Walter Nolen
youtu.be/eXIBVw_F0oc?...
Elijah Arroyo - Arroyo has the potential to be a much better pro than college player. Was very productive in big moments but wasnβt consistently involved. Has potential to compete for the tight end 1 job early on.
26.01.2025 00:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Antwaun Powell-Ryland - an absolute steal this late, Ryland is a little limited athletically but is a high effort player with solid athleticism and good size who should be able to contribute as a rusher immediately even if his ceiling is a bit limited
26.01.2025 00:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Quinshon Judkins - Chase Brown had a fantastic second year, but he was overworked and having two backs take the carries makes the Bengals a better team with two fresher backs.
26.01.2025 00:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Xavier Watts - anyone can see the connection with this one. Add a great player to the backend of this defense that has a clear connection to the teams new defensive coordinator
26.01.2025 00:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Walter Nolen - Nolen is a solid pass rusher and excellent run defender in college. He also has a near ideal frame and likely tests at an elite level. There may be some character and effort concerns, but the Bengals can figure out whether theyβre real better than I ever could.
26.01.2025 00:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Daniel Jeremiahβs newest mock draft has the Bengals taking Nolen, so decided to do a mock with Nolen as the first pick. Assume they added a couple OL in free agency lol.
26.01.2025 00:53 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 2 π 1The Bengals might get an extra 3rd round pick for Trey Brown leaving. Considering the draft is half dumb luck, Iβm not gonna be too mad if that happens.
Obviously it could be a problem though if he has been part of their push to add more athletes. But thereβs no way any fan knows Browns impact.
Tahj Brooks - you canβt stop me from mocking big boy RBs to the Bengals. Chase Brown is a stud but he needs more work off of his back, and the Bengals need someone to push the pile for the tough yards. You can normally get those guys on day 3 and Brooks is a perfect example.
23.01.2025 19:21 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Rylie Mills - Stewart has some inside outside versatility, but the Bengals still need more dedicated interior defenders, and this late thereβs no better option than someone their new DC will be very familiar with. More of a pass rusher than run defender, he fits what the Bengals need.
23.01.2025 19:21 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Harold Fannin Jr - I guess this is the Jr draft. Fannin doesnβt really fit the Bengals needs if Gesicki is brought back, but oh well, if he makes it to their 3rd round pick he has to be in consideration as the most exciting receiving tight end in this class. Teach him how to block and have your star
23.01.2025 19:21 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Chris Paul Jr - The Bengals new defensive coordinator has a history as a linebacker coach. Pair that with the possibility of Pratt getting cut and a move like this wouldnβt surprise. Paul is an athletic rangy linebacker that can cover RBs and TEs and help contain the mobile QBs in the AFC.
23.01.2025 19:21 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Shemar Stewart - if he produced at a decent level, would never make it to 17, because he is one of the freakiest athletes I have seen in awhile. His bend, and burst are crazy at his size and he also has solid hand usage. If he makes it to 17, the Bengals will be very interested.
23.01.2025 19:21 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Continuing my daily Bengals mock drafts, gonna try to always pick new guys, so hereβs the one for today.
23.01.2025 19:21 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It could be worse, they could have to extend/restructure all their old and aging players to fit them under the cap meaning they still canβt do a proper reset.
23.01.2025 19:09 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0With Al Golden as DC, it raises more questions about Germaine Pratt who was not drafted when Golden was linebacker coach nor did he have his best year under golden.
Personally, Iβd move on and look to replace him with Christian Elliss, Patriots linebacker who is young and could be ascending.
5. Ollie Gordon - The Bengals could use another back to take some load off Chase Browns back and getting Gordon here is a discount. After a 2023 with 1700 rushing yards he had a disappointing 2024. But he still has a great ceiling and brings size the RB room needs.
22.01.2025 19:35 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 04. Chase Lundt - The Bengals clearly just need to draft more guys named Chase because it works well for them. Lundt needs some development but he has a great upside at offensive line although if Jackson is eventually moving to OT in the plans not sure what Lundt will do.
22.01.2025 19:35 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 03. Donovan Jackson - I was choosing between two guys here I donβt think make it to the 3rd, but what are you gonna do. Helped himself more this playoff run than anyone else. Can immediately start at G and take over LT eventually.
22.01.2025 19:35 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 02. Xavier Watts - with rumors swarming of Al Golden coming to Cincy this fit is too obvious. Watts fills a need as a replacement for Geno Stone either in 2025 or long term if Stone is kept. He wonβt test great most likely so him falling to here is in the realm of possibility.
22.01.2025 19:35 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 01. Tyler Warren - Erick All added a great element to the Bengals offense as a tight end who is both decent as a receiver and a good blocker. Warren is the juiced version of All and fills a hole with Alls future questionable due to his injury history.
22.01.2025 19:35 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Iβll post a daily Bengals mock draft with thoughts on here, because why not. To start off, this is the: we addressed pass rush in free agency mock draft.
22.01.2025 19:35 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Continuing with the hot takes, Mykel Williams is at absolute best, EDGE5 in the 2025 Draft Class
22.01.2025 18:32 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I, for obvious reasons will be posting on Bluesky now instead of Twitter.
To commemorate that Iβll give my current draft take:
Ignore any mock draft where Shemar Stewart doesnβt go top 15.
Shocker: The Bengals pass rush just isnβt good enough
01.12.2024 19:38 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I love Mike Hilton, Iβd even sign him back on a one year deal.
But heβs not it in coverage. He always needs help.
I am hoping for multiple FAs along the tier of Awuzie/Hilton etc. thereβs a few guards I like to replace Cappa (who Iβd cut) and Elijah Moore to replace Higgins.
18.11.2024 20:16 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Thereβs still lots of talent and theyβll have lots of money to address needs in FA.
