Really sad to hear the news of Mu’s passing. His gigs at the Matterhorn where he would work his MPC sampler as the foundation for a whole lot of live instrumental chaos weren’t just a ‘sound’, they defined an attitude to creativity and inspiration for a whole generation of Wellington kids.

Great piece, and certainly worth reading.

And I do hope The Spinoff takes the criticisms in here to heart, for to write yet another piece by a cis person asking trans folks to effectively sit down & wait, that their rights are something we should compromise more on, is at best not good journalism.
