Just completed ethics training to serve on our local Historical Commission. I assured them I will comport myself with the morals and ethics befitting a United States Supreme Court justice.

There is a convicted felon sitting at the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office and I just had to swear an oath to serve on the Historical Commission for a small New England town of less than 18,000 residents.

Could be indifference. ALL political boundaries and labels look like temporary bullshit to a cartographer.

I'm just tired of watching people tie themselves into knots rather than admit just how racist and sexist America really is.

Lost power last night. Gathered all the holiday candles from the windows for light. One had dead batteries but I included it anyway so it wouldn't be alone. I also put it in the middle so it would feel like it was contributing.

I absolutely sympathize with anyone who has lost their home. It's just that by the time I've finished with all the people who've lost their homes because they couldn't pay their medical expenses I just don't have anything left for the rich people losing multimillion-dollar properties in California.

I wonder how long it will take the GOP to realize that in the US we give votes to empty acreage and in Canada there are a LOT of liberal acres.

I think it's safe to say that the American voting public is currently very much in support of insurance reform. Do you suppose anyone in Washington is paying attention?

I'm beginning to hope that America is finally waking up to the fact that billionaires are villains, NOT heroes.

We don't have a Republican problem in this country. We have a Christian problem.

And the GOP will never forgive McBride for it. Just like they won't forgive Obama for failing to be corrupt.

I like the idea of paying to make my experience better. As opposed to paying to make everybody else's experience worse.
