Trans girls playing sports hurts no one.

If you're worried about your daughter losing at sports to a trans kid just wait until you hear about "tall kids" or "rich kids"!!! There's a thousand reasons why one kid might win over another and gender identity is like not even on the list

I think the really important thing about the "trans sports debate" is that it's NOT REAL, the things that people are fearmongering about are NOT REAL and are NOT HAPPENING. Cis women are not competing at a disadvantage against trans women, cis men aren't transitioning to win at sports, IT'S NOT REAL

I'm old enough to remember the '80s and '90s "melting pot" era, when we rightfully pointed out that the US's greatest strength was the vast diversity of backgrounds, cultures, and experiences of Americans, allowing us to adapt, learning, and innovate.

I don't understand how parents can support harm to *anyone's* children, ever. How that does not become an absolute, uncrossable line the second you hold a child in your arms and recognize that vulnerability and dire responsibility (if not before). How you don't generalize that protectiveness.
