From the reporting, it sounds like the Rockets worked with him to send him to a destination he wanted. And if they just want highest bidder, I doubt they could have done better than a single *highly protected* first. Two seconds isn’t that much worse than that.

I think that’s right. LaRavia in particular is good at that number. And both have the potential to be high-upside pickups.

I suppose it depends on who else they could have signed with the TPMLE. But other than the opportunity cost, I agree: There doesn’t seem to be much downside.
