It was weird. It was a lifeless crowd, but then some fans in section 214, 215 started chants in the 4th. And the team was getting back in the game and it snowballed from there. By the end of the game, the crowd was really excited and having fun.

Warriors/Grizzlies game? Many of my seat neighbors left at the end of the 3rd quarter, but some of them regretted it...

I hope he's just in a Klay slump. He doesn't rely on his shooting as much as Klay---but maybe he can reduce his turnovers by handling the ball less (and remain playable--or return to playable???).

So a different issue: has Dray become the new Klay (as, not being good enough to start anymore?)?

I blew back someone's comment last week about a dead crowd at Chase, but tonight's crowd is quiet. The lack of talent on the court has broken them... it's pathetic when Pat Spencer is your best player on the court...

What really happened is that the team abandoned SF, but kept the label despite having nothing to do with the city.

That's why Niner jerseys are rarely worn by sports fans here.

Sorry, but shortening the season just takes away needed revenue from the players, employees, and nearby businesses. They really shouldn't do that.... but scheduling does need to reduce the back-to-backs....

I moved to SF from Boston. It was a great decision. Boston is a city with limited nightlife, cold weather, and huge impoverished sections (Roxbury being the worst).

I saw DaveAgainst... complain about the Tenderloin. There are no cities in this country with smaller and fewer patches of poverty (SF has the Tenderloin and BayView). In most cities, the poorer areas are more than 3 times as big and more numerous.
Poverty sucks, but it's hardly a bigger issue here.

At least the NBA doesn't allow a single team to buy all of the best players in the sport...

Most NBA players are playing 20 minutes a game (or less). I'd be thrilled if he averaged that with the Dubs (though it seems unlikely).

We needed some size, and we got a monster. That's pretty slick.

I've been critical of MDJ, but this has the potential to be a great move. Didn't give up much, finally got a big, may have rescued a season stuck in a terrible trend.

An amazing fit for the Dubs. Horford, big P, Green in the middle of the court should be much better. Porzingis does prefer the outside game, but will he give us any courttime?
