If I was to get ulcers again it would defo be the slippery elm though, but for the gastritis I now use althea, marshmallow root.

I used to get stomach ulcers, from 14 up and terrible gastritis as a result. I ended up using slippery elm, it got rid of my symptoms. What was daily seems to rear its head yearly or so now. When it does as slippery elm is endangered I now use marshmallow root and plantain.

David Hoffman and the stansbury formulary collection is wonderful. Hildegards is great if you like history/folklore too
