Democratic Leadership (if such a thing existed) should have already issued at least a statement if not a live speech addressed to the military rejecting the concept of "enemies from within" as completely un-American and reminding them that their loyalty lies with the Constitution, not the dictator.

If we're already engaged in extra-judicial killing of their citizens, what further retaliation do they fear? At some point you have to stand up for your citizens. No, I think if this is confirmed, they'll speak up.

If this is true, I would expect the Venezuelan government to issue a formal statement and/or complaint to the UN or some other international body. I have no doubt that these monsters would absolutely kill innocent people...but I need more verification than this.
