I do think that a large proportion of people are still thinking of things as if we are in normal times, clearly we are not

The stock market doesn’t see things for what they are, there is a lot of unjustified optimism and expectation in the system, stocks were at an all-time high a year before the Great Recession

What really gets me is how embarrassing this all is.
