Kicking them out of the military

Revoking their driver’s licenses

Banning them from restrooms

Stripping them of housing/job protection

Banning gender affirming care for adults

It’s utter dehumanization & erasure.

We must pass a federal civil rights law ending this hate & overriding these laws.

Fighting for Breath: The FDA’s Lax Generic Drug Rules Put Her Life at Risk Lung transplant patient Hannah Goetz’s life depended on the generic version of the critical drug tacrolimus. It was supposed to be equivalent to the brand-name medication β€” but the FDA doesn’t always ...

Tacrolimus, which helps prevent rejection of transplanted organs, only works if the dose is calibrated within a very narrow range.

Any amount outside that window can be dangerous.

But not all generic versions of the drug may meet that standard.

ICE Holding Chinese Man Who Documented Uyghur Camps Heng Guan is awaiting an immigration hearing on Monday that could lead to his removal from the U.S. and ultimately land him back in China, according to his lawyer and a New York-based activist group.

In late 2020 a Chinese man called Guan Heng travelled to Xinjiang with our BuzzFeed map of detention facilities to provide ground truth for our work - he provided the first corroborating evidence for many sites.

He escaped to the US - then ICE detained him.

JAMA research letter, published online October 29, 2025, shows geographic distribution of healthcare professionals sponsored for H-1B visas in the US. Four US maps display percentages for physicians, advanced practice providers, dentists, and other health care workers.

H-1B visa–sponsored physicians are twice as prevalent in rural counties and nearly 4 times as common in high-poverty areas, highlighting the potential harm of rising visa costs to health care access.
