Republicans have sent poorly trained jackboots into American streets to disappear people based on their skin color. And these morons are so poorly trained, they’re now freaking out and pulling guns on protesters armed only with whistles.

The level of violence being used by the federal immigration enforcement agents in Chicago & it's suburbs is so insane—it seems like just a matter of time before something gives

Trump’s orders unnerved many in the industry and appear to have discouraged some large firms from taking on cases they would otherwise have backed, lawyers say. That has dried up a formerly reliable supply of help from large law offices for people and institutions challenging government policies.

The American Bar Association, which joined or filed four lawsuits against the Trump administration, “has experienced difficulty finding previously willing law firms to represent it,” its attorneys wrote in court papers. In one case, the organization said, it was unable to join a lawsuit challenging the administration because it could not get attorneys in time.

We have reached the point where the *American Bar Association* cannot find attorneys willing to represent them in litigation against the Trump administration.

Monthly DoD payroll is ~$16 billion. This supposed "gift" would cover less than 1% of that amount.

If split evenly among active duty service members, each would get just under $100.

Reporters who don't challenge on this are committing egregious malpractice.

Donald Trump's masked agents believe that their actions are immune from investigation or accountability — they're not.

I've signed an Executive Order today establishing the Illinois Accountability Commission to create a public record and capture the impact on our communities.

Hasan: The great irony is of course that Donald Trump is the son of an immigrant. The grandson of an immigrant and married to an immigrant. In fact two of his three wives were immigrants, proving yet again that immigrants will do the jobs that even Americans are not willing to do.
