It's official, we have the keys to our new space! We are beyond excited and busy moving in and setting up. We don't have an opening date yet, but we're hoping to be ready in the next couple weeks!

I have friends who run small online shops selling modern hobby retro gear and it feels like, at least for now, it's going to end in short order.

A HP 4957A Serial Protocol Analyzer

A stack of electronic test equipment. Including a Tektronix TLA715, Fluke 5440, HP 5334A, HP 54825, HP 5236B, and a modern Windows PC in a HTPC case.

I still rely on floppies a lot to save defaults to just in case the internal batteries or hard drives fail in a lot of my electronics stack. Photos from the middle of a recent reorganization.

About 2 days ago, my logic analyzer and oscilloscope both save to floppy as the portable storage medium.

I peaced out of Bsky in July of last year, after the Black artists I followed voiced issues with systemic racism, harassment, and lack of moderation support. It didn't seem like a community I wanted to lend my labor to.

For those of you who stuck around; did things ever improve?
