Meet Dr. Maria Luisa Russo, an expert in the conservation of archives & manuscripts & a co-founder of #Amalia association.

21 Palestinian heritage professionals were in #Cairo this week for a training on heritage damage assessments & stabilization, focusing on emergency response in Gaza.
Organized by the Egyptian Heritage Rescue Foundation and the Center for Cultural Heritage Preservation and supported by ALIPH.

Today, we honor Dr. Svitlana Stryelnikova, a Ukrainian conservator. Her team takes "heritage ambulances" (vehicles equipped with restoration materials) across #Ukraine to safeguard endangered artifacts. A project supported by ALIPH & funded by the EU.

✨ 𝟴𝟴% of them are from 𝟰𝟳 countries in Africa!
