A couple weekends ago I had the opportunity to attend a bird-banding event at a local wildlife reserve. Here are a couple of the birds I saw before my hands got too cold to take any more photographs #birds

There’s a feasible genetic explanation for this! Since self and longhair are recessive genes, it’s likely her parents were both heterozygous carriers with Aa alleles for tabby and Ll alleles for coat length. Black cats with the tabby gene appear gray or brown with black stripes; since black is (1/2)

Nine armored wolves in a row. The first is a large, tall wolf with black fur and black armor. The second is smaller and rounder, with dusky-brown fur, hazel eyes, and bronze armor. The third is a huge gray-and-white wolf with protruding fangs, ice-blue eyes, and dark silver armor. The fourth is a white wolf with blue-gray markings and silver armor that stands out against his orange eyes. The fifth is a brown wolf, facing the camera with alert amber eyes and wearing copper armor. The sixth is an old, pale gray wolf with green eyes and a crown built into his silver armor. The sixth is a small, wiry reddish-brown wolf with pale amber eyes and ruby-red armor. The fifth is spotted in black, white and ginger, with golden armor and green eyes. The sixth is a striped wolf with a mane down her back and pinkish-copper armor that matches her eyes. Each armor set is engraved with a symbol I made up for the breed, being in order an arrow-shaped pine tree, a heart, three claw marks, a snowflake, a four-leaf clover, a bone, an infinity sign, a fire, and a smile-like stripe.

Finally completed my goal of taming and armoring every type of wolf in Minecraft (while my brother beats the game in every possible manner, lol!). It took 70+ wolves, but here’s a drawing of the nine species representatives.
