Hot Fuzz is the only one of the Spaced movies that I like.

Somewhere, in the Deep reaches of space, an assembly has gathered on a space station. During a heated discussion on the design and capabilities of mecha, Isamu Kurogane (Lance) stands tall and dares to speak the truth. "Every Gundam is worse than Voltron because his hands are lion mouths!!!" he declares without shame. His bravado has impressed the Red Comet, Char Aznable, while confusing and insulting Amuro Ray. The delaration is heard to mixed reactions by many other mecha pilots (not by Shinji Ikari, he is doing his best to ignore him).

The fact that Carl is a cop is exactly why he has a sort of adversarial kinship with a fellow agent of destruction and chaos, Urkel. On some level, Carl understands that it is in fact his decisions and failure to protect his family and community that has let any "that" be done.

Is there a specific color they burn? I've seen two green fireballs in the last three years.

If you call them, I'm sure someone there can let you know what they've got. The library in our podunk little town had newspaper archives back to the 1930s on microfiche.

The local library there might keep an archive.

Beneath clear pond waters, colourful carps swim around water lilies whose leaves repeat infinitely. The fish, despite their strange Mandelbrot forms, move around with grace.

Aeons come and go, millions of years slipping away like minutes. The Fractal remains.
Mountains sprout in strange shapes, and in their twisted shadow species continue to evolve, die, be born. Nature has endured what humanity could not.
Nothing ever really ends.

I haven't watched Child Of Glass yet. I've not been able to track down a place to watch it so far.

Respectfully, I would consider "not considering how it feels to actually play your game" to be a characteristic of poor game design.

I just learned this existed recently when I finally watched Watcher In The Woods.

How much of the difficulty (on any system) comes down to just being poor game design?

Thank you for posting these. I've been trying to unpack where my fascination with the paranormal came from, and these books all look achingly familiar. Were they paperback, or hardcover?

My "holy grail" would be whatever book I read that had a section on Jack The Ripper.

Simon Belmont, expert vampire hunter and heir to the Belmont Clan "Vampire Killer" whip, rushes towards Dracula's castle pursued by a mess of damnable bats, fist clenched. His thighs, sweat-caked and tan, ripple outrageously. His whole body is a throbbing mass of man muscle. Yowza. I'd like to catch a ride on that.

An Egyptian-style mummy shambles towards Simon, barely presenting any threat at all. Simon strikes it down with his fully-upgraded chain whip.

Leaping through the air, whip-cracking, Simon Belmont does battle with Death himself in front of a lovely set of rose-embroidered drapes. The Grim Reaper has a keen eye for home decor.

Dracula, Prince of Darkness, having been bested by the vampire hunting hunk Simon Belmont, turns to face the morning sun and be vanquished back to Hell once more. Immediately he begins plotting his revenge on the accursed Belmont clan.

I don't have any nostalgia for this one because I didn't have a SNES as a kid.

Whip feels real good.

Only real complaint is that the game's a bit long for my taste.
