This is great advice. And as someone who worked years in the produce department, also use your nose. Bring the stem end of the fruit right up to your face and take a deep breath. We won't think you're weird, real ones know if you can't smell the fruit through the rind it's underripe.

12 is probably my favorite game of all time. The opening two hours are pretty weak, but from there it blossoms into a great character-driven story of political intrigue and the perils of ambition.

Also, the gods speak in iambic pentameter.

i don't like to go down these rabbit holes too much anymore but it is unfortunate when nice people make art i hate, so when the artist does act like a dumbass it does make me feel a little better about hating something so much when i didn't know anything about them

I've used cdon.se a few times, they don't have the best selection but I've found a few gems. No idea what their shipping looks like outside of Sweden, but inside they've been fast and reliable.

Same in Stockholm. 5 years car free and I never want to go back. In a well-designed city, cars are pure luxury items, and not even very nice ones.

I've been using the same pair of Sony MDRs that my dad bought in the 90s and they still sound better than just about anything made today. Sony still makes them, I don't know if the new ones have the same quality but I bet it's close.
