Same here. I go round regularly and bring in anything with enough colour to finish ripening indoors. Bit stunned to find some promising toms in the outside bed today.

Sunny start. Sunflowers in right border gone and a purge on the verbena in the far border. Grass half cut - hoping for more sun today to finish the job

Horn of Ulf, on display in York Minster. Gifted to the Minster by a Norse lord named Ulf in around 1030 as a deed of transfer of lands that he had given to the church. It’s an elaborately carved elephant tusk- incredibly exotic & valuable in 11thC.

Hello. The tree is beautiful and a lovely addition to your view, quick look revealed sycamores and maples are both in Acer family. Learn something new everyday. Bit overwhelmed by the sudden change from summer drought to autumn ceaseless downpour but plants are much happier.
