I think the fact that the mass majority of the redraws don't hit the angle at all is a testament to how hard it is which is really funny and part of the virality of the drawing... most professionals won't even touch it so it's awesome to see a less experienced artist tackle it and ask for advice

The frieren head redraw meme is so funny bc thay face angle is my MORTAL ENEMY. I have spent YEARS trying to master it while cursing and drawing a million diagrams and construction lines and it still looks bad or I end up tweaking it to be less extreme. It is my white whale, my final boss

an illustration that is a cover for "ash in the wind" by cryoflower. it shows one of my main characters, Neil, looking back at the camera while he faces a tree with a giant eye shape on it while other trees with eyes stare at him in the background. the color palette has a lot of oranges for a fall aesthetic.

a similar composition to the previous but it's my other main character, Alexis, looking back as she stands in a valley full of blue flowers as she's framed by clouds and mountains in the distance. The color palette is mostly made up of blues.

Why am I so against generative AI in games?

Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

Yikes, I'm about to sleep but when I get up tomorrow morning I'll have to see if anything like this has happened w AitW since they have promoted it a few times in the past. I don't think I'll delete my comic from there yet but I'll hold off on updating there for the time being.

i dont want to be in a fandom that critisizes the choices of fictional characters like they are human beings. i want to see THEORY and ANALYSIS and STORY STRUCTURE and CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT!! I WANT PARALLELS AND MOTIFS AND VISUAL CUES!!! They're not REAL they are TOOLS so stop acting like they are people who made bad choices and should be punished. of course they made bad choices!!! that shit is funny and cool to watch!!
