Having a lazy day today. All the walking and driving over the past few days has messed up my ankle so I'm trying to keep off it as much as possible. Shame that means playing on the X-Box all day. 😁

I enjoyed exploring while I was away but I've walked so much that my legs need a break. Tomorrow will be a day where I do not move much... time to continue the inquisition, I think.

On my way home via an indirect route so I can carry on exploring. Strong smell of pot around the potteries (and I don't mean the ceramic variety).

Good morning! It's too early to be awake but I've got a long journey home today (with a few stops along the way - still exploring!). Hope you all have a wonderful Saturday.

Technically, you already are. 🙂 I just haven't got my first novel published yet - though it got really good feedback from the people I got to proofread it for me. I really do want to see my book get published someday.

I haven't written anything in a while but I was out and about today and realised that for some reason I was reviewing chapters of my second novel in my head. Maybe it's time I finally finished it.

Explored a castle this evening. Nobody else was there which was a bit spooky. I wonder what it would have been like if I'd stayed until it got dark.

Someone I used to work with told me that if you act confident then people will think you're confident, and then you'll become confident. I'm not sure of the wisdom of it but I've thought about it a lot over the years.

Ugh! I get copied in on so much stuff that has nothing to do with me or my department. I hate to imagine how many there will be on Monday after being off for a couple of days. 🙄

Such a lovely city. I've really enjoyed wandering around here today.
