I have no use for light before I get up most days, and lots of use for light before I go to bed. I can adjust my sleep/wake times, but the rest of the world runs on 9-5 so we’re stuck with the effects of that.

And many of us don’t want summer daylight ending and starting earlier in the day.

Go to universal UTC. Business, schools etc can publish their operating hours based on that.

The rest of us don’t need the sun coming up at 4:30AM.

They aren’t if your work/school/etc lets out at a specific time.

And look how messed up they are.

Another great use: TV Thanksgiving. Dinner on TV trays in front of the TV, watching 60s/70s/80s Thanksgiving TV episodes. We did that a few years ago with friends, it’s a hoot.
