For decades the left focused myopically on federal elections while the right laid the groundwork for controlling the government by taking control of state legislatures and courts. The ground game is in the states. Run for school board! Run for town council! Run! That is how we take back power.

Blue states passed shield laws ensuring people can keep receiving medication abortion. IMO the issue is a decades long disinvestment in the state infrastructure — legislatures, courts, SoS — exactly the opposite of what the Rs did for the last 40 years. The ground game is in the states.

i think it is important to say that the open and explicit racism of the president and the vice president isn’t just uncouth or “controversial” but a direct attack on tens of millions of americans and a dereliction of their duty to represent the entire country
