20 years later Im still not a fan of steam, but its also the best iteration of the digital marketplace I've yet seen

I came from the HL1 modding scene, which was a very easy to organize within Windows directories. when Steam came along, it shattered that simple dir structure, broke a lot of mods

now this is my kinda truck

Ive thought about something like this a lot. I think a single city block with a strong focus is much more interesting than entire city. a whole city will always feel empty, but a city block can be dense and interesting
