I would kind of agree with that, although I also think that it isn't necessarily that they're secretive, it's just that there isn't much motivation for studios to share it or motivation for people to look into how studios make games.

I don't understand why people are getting so worked up about DLC being announced before the game's launch, as if that's different to DLC being announced a month after launch.

Either way, it's been the plan from the beginning and in development for ages already, only difference is when we see it.

Really? I had no problems at all until about halfway through, but died plenty in the last few bosses I've done

(Unlocks have definitely made this not the case any more lol... Now I can practically fly through platforming sections, and bosses are getting constantly harder 😅)
