I love how this tree looks like it's dropping tongues of flame to the pavement

we can chalk it up to youth and inexperience but the biggest mistake the mamdani campaign made was winning by 8.8% and not 1.5%, which is the margin needed for the media to say it’s a total mandate

This is so, so true. There are vanishingly few people making a living off their art full time, and many (maybe the majority) of us who do also have a spouse with their own income. Don't ever think you're somehow less of an artist because you have to do other shit to pay the bills.

The pods are like "but what if we force some single-use items into your routine?"
I think that's why I hate them so much.

Disgusting.
Mamdani: "My message to ICE agents & to everyone across this city is that everyone will be held to the same standard of the law. If you violate it, you must be held accountable. There is sadly a sense growing that certain people are allowed to violate that law, whether they be POTUS or ICE agents."
