Pretty soon after we got our regular (and apparently quite gracious) auctioneer back on stage and continued the show. Lots of money raised, community made, & hope for the future shored up. All that good stuff.

A man jumped on stage and took the mic the other night to show our exceptional auctioneer how it's done. Got on stage and realized it's not an easy job & he didn't have anything at all to say. So he's just repeatedly yelling "Lets gooo!" to diminishing returns.

I’m a grown woman and I do whatever I want.

The word singing sounds so nerdy and flat compared to what it could be sonically. Like, Steven Tyler and Chris Cornell sang but what they were doing has so much more edge to it than the word *singing* implies.

Today my cat napped while I caught a lizard I found in my bed. I’m sure it’s one that she brought in because it was missing its tail. I did the old catch and release with the lizard but I’m really not looking forward to finding it’s tail somewhere.
