Shoghi Effendi & UHJ have said that eventually western Baha’is will be persecuted once the powers that be become sufficiently aware of us. Perhaps not in exactly the same form as our coreligionists in the Islamic world, but nevertheless inevitable. It’s the usual response to new revelations.
