Incredible history. Thanks
06.08.2025 20:51 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Itβs on iTunes: Sesame Disco. So much fun. Thanks for posting this
03.08.2025 16:13 β π 2 π 2 π¬ 1 π 0Thanks for this, very helpful.
29.07.2025 11:16 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Have a good morning, I have to get my day started
28.07.2025 11:48 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0One non-prime time speaking slot at the convention, + the powers that be couldnβt even allow that. In a tight election, we didnβt work to win the votes of a small but organized allied community.
Of course, none of this would matter if white voters had voted for the qualified candidate. Sad sad sad
I agree it is confusing. It was an easy call for me to vote Democratic. But if thousands of my community were being slaughtered and the current administration was directing that + refusing all discussion, I might prioritize sitting out the election, as well. I canβt blame those voters.
28.07.2025 11:21 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 3 π 0You have uncovered their evil geniusβ¦oy
Hope you made it home OK
Theyβve been doing that for at least 15 years, often itβs βmaintenanceβ that starts at 9 PMβ¦you basically CANβT make the last train, must take a car service
28.07.2025 03:37 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Thatβs an easy feeling to have butβ¦in Fall 2024 their extended families were being slaughtered + it was quite clear the people who led the party which ***should have cared*** didnβt care one bit at all. We need to earn votes and our party didnβt even try
25.07.2025 20:47 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 3 π 0Basically, every alumni donation for the next two years is going right into Trumpβs pockets
24.07.2025 14:54 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Nice! Please ask him why βvote blue no matter whoβ isnβt applicable in New York City and New York State?
17.07.2025 18:36 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Same person. Have been saying for years.
15.07.2025 14:51 β π 93 π 15 π¬ 8 π 2There is little that feels βsubstantiveβ about this headline, it could have come right from the NYTβ¦ we keep analyzing ourselves right out of electoral victories
08.07.2025 20:09 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0He has to get elected first, and every nitpick we have is just used as fuel by the racist and pro-billionaire establishment media to create a cloud of confusion. Too much detail, especially from those of us not on the electoral front lines, obscures the premise and promise a candidate needs to have.
08.07.2025 19:50 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I love that former NYT public editor @sulliview.bsky.social is public-editing from the outside.
"With this made-up scandal, combined with the pre-election editorial, the Times looks like itβs on a crusade against Mamdani.
"And no lofty explanation about the mission can disguise it."
We have a clear villain here β the Republican Party β and Jeffries can't bring himself to say its name.
14.06.2025 18:48 β π 176 π 21 π¬ 4 π 1Maybe Happy Endings, finally a fantastically well done music thatβs not a revival or a jukebox
10.05.2025 02:13 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Bulwark subscriber hereβ¦ I found it disappointing that neither Nadya Williams nor John Wilsey took the time to say whose rights should be taken away in this βpre-politicalβ time they yearn for. Gays, immigrants, blacks, women? All of them? Which rivers were they like to see polluted again?
02.05.2025 22:06 β π 7 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Ugh, she is incredible in an incredible role
01.05.2025 13:05 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0+yet today many of your Dem colleagues voted for another Trump appointment, this time to China... can you please make up your mind whether thereβs an emergency? Or not?
(FWIW I believe it is an emergency and would like my partyβs officials to start acting like it!)
Whereβs @schumer.senate.gov and @kirstengillibrand.bsky.social ?
Mahmoud Khalil is a legal resident of NYβyour constituent.
You werenβt part of the delegation that showed upβso what are you doing to make this right and to stop innocent people from being snatched off NY streets w/out due process?
@nyt-first-said.bsky.social will never make the connection unfortunately

Why would you write that electioneering and a political party earning a districtβs votes is βstealing an electoral districtβ
Is Quebec disliked that much? Or just an unfortunate turn of phrase?

Van Hollen: "I'm very glad that the killed of Rachel Morin has been convicted in a court of law. That is how we hold guilty people accountable ... I'm not sure why Abrego Garcia's rights should be denied based on an awful murder he had absolutely nothing to do with."
20.04.2025 16:39 β π 28091 π 5946 π¬ 456 π 255It's not "did not vote" it's "voter suppression". It's single day elections on work/school days people can't take off, miss out on $, or fit into the day. It's reducing early & Sunday voting, ID demands, not allowing advocates to provide refreshment in voting lines, no online option, GERRYMANDERING!

βItβs amazing that others in this room underwrote electing a man who, in the last week, single-handedly destroyed all of American science. Itβs amazing how much good science you can destroy with $320 million and RFK Jr, very fast.β

Agree completely. Also very sad.
12.04.2025 23:20 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Not across the board, but I think it is a good explanation for elite private schools with large endowments. At some point growing the endowment becomes the marker of success.
