Crimson Crocodile from #kdm ! Love the feeling of finishing a model and getting him right to the table.

This was a really fun one and I enjoyed flexing flourescents+ using different techniques to achieve the big open areas vs focused little details.

Painted this Westfalia mini as sort of a tarnished forest ranger. Really pleased with the outcome and decided to do some basing to emphasize the concept setting, which I don't have much experience with but came out really nice 😊

And here's my first draft, with the image I was inspired by. In the end I think I just needed to pick between the puprle/pink and the blue and to tie highlights together + darken the cape that was too bright and drawing all the focus

This is a case of not being happy with a first color pallet and redoing shading and paring down the hues used. Will also share the first draft in replies for comparison.

I was really nervous to mess up a paint job I was happy with by going back to add blood, but I'm really happy I did. It really needed that pop of contrasting color.
