Just putting it out there that as an autistic person I still wear underwear... I just found comfortable ones.

It was really fun actually, but at the same time the nearby parking that we found was limited to two hours so short and sweet

How are the renovations going? I remember you mentioned a possible roof issue a while ago

So in general we're looking to move anyway, but we're not sure where up here we'd be able to get what we want with available budget at the moment. So we're thinking of leaving the UK to have a go somewhere else instead

We haven't had any bother either, but we've had enough of the surroundings of the house (lots of people making noise in the park nextdoor and we've become very aware of the neighbours out making noise, and the road's too busy as it's a through road to other areas.

I know. But when I've previously told people we're moving to Ireland they think Northern rather than the Republic of Ireland.

Oh yes absolutely. That's why we're going to Southern Ireland rather than NZ which would be my ideal

Leaving Manchester was harder due to long-standing connections whereas we've not been here long enough to build up the same connections I guess

Economic constraints are a big hinderance to moving, but I don't think that's going to get better any time soon to make leaving less expensive

Leaving Manchester was definitely a hard move, but we've only been here a few years now so there's less pull to be honest

It's definitely a big consideration. But even the economic situation here doesn't feel great, especially with continued reliance on the US rather than looking to Europe

That's a shame, was it work related or health related (my partner wouldn't be able to get residency in some countries due to a medication she takes)

We were planning to leave in 27, but now debating leaving next year instead
