The question isn't, "how do we build better, less harmful data centers?" The question is, "do we need this type of AI?" The answer is no.

I think some people feel "they" is inherently neutral, but if someone has a preferred pronoun and you don't use it, it's misgendering all the same.

Feels related: I have realized that I only feel fat when I try to wear clothes I grew out of many years ago. I just need to throw out anything under size 12 and add some 14s in for days I'm more bloated. I don't actually care that I have a squishy fat belly, I like to play with it.

My 9yo went through a brief obsession with this song, specifically adding several or a few dozen more "longs" before the word December. Kids are so delightfully weird 😄

The USPS is a fantastic, efficient government service and it barely costs us anything. A whole lot less than paying FedEx prices for every piece of mail. They also offer nonprofit rates which allows my research team to disseminate materials affordably to the vulnerable populations we serve.
