Passkeys are just a friendly UI for pgp auth. It’s simple “if you can decrypt this message, we let you into the service”.

Gpg would get the same thing done but would be a lot less user friendly.

UV light can be used to photodegrade chemicals through oxidation and hydrolysis.

E.g. for pet odor, urea is photolyzed into ammonia and isocyanic acid

Though the light needs to touch the chemical so if it’s soaked into a carpet or something it would be much less effective.
