Badenoch’s speech is nothing but handouts for people who have plenty.

I can't for the life of me understand why Badenoch thought that was a sensible opening to her speech. Everyone just responds:

I think it just points to her being thoroughly unlikeable.

The first thing Badenough does is dish up a snide insult.

What's effectively happening here (in the British media at large, too) is the construction of "anti-racism" as somehow a "political alternative" to racism, rather than as a minimal civilisational standard, which in turn (further) vindicates racism as *also* an acceptable political position.
