The US electing Trump is a disaster. A proper US President would have Russia on its knees now, not Russia having Trump on his knees.

Again, the Tories encouraged law breaking, so long as money was being made, is dangerous. A large, underground economy is bad for everyone, except the employers after making a fast buck. They need to be prosecuted and the law enforced, by the agencies responsible. I hope Labour will stop this.

I agree. Problem is after 14 years of a free for all and decline in targeting businesses and individuals for breaking the law, there's a lot of catching up to do. The Govt appears to be putting more resources into the NCA and other agencies that deal with this problem.

We know what the outcome will be. Putin and Trump will agree that Ukraine must surrender all territory taken by Russia. Trump will declare the outcome a victory and threaten Ukraine if it does not obey.

Looks like Trump is creating a 'private army', loyal to him. Hitler did the same. They were called the SS, loyal to the Fuhrer, not the country.

One can predict the outcome. Trump and Putin will agree and the pressure will all be applied on Ukraine, to surrender a large part of their sovereign territory to the aggressor. Trump will hail it a victory, of course.

There has to be the will. After all, this type of behaviour is 'black market', cash in hand & no tax paid, either by the employee, or the employer. Safeguards that normal employees have, do not apply. They also penalise lawful employers & employees. The law should be applied to all, no excuses.

There is a UK, Zoo inspectorate that is responsible for making sure zoo's are humane. I always thought of them as a bit out of date and a legacy of a time when there was no TV/radio & little photography. The public had to go to zoo's to see wild life, even if it is in an artificial setting.
