Tickets for the new timetable period are now available at DB. Also the new ICE Antwerpen-Köln with stops in Brussels Airport, Leuven and Liège is now available. It starts running from the 7th of September and I might have made the timetable for it 😉

Something special in the sidings in Leuven 🇧🇪: a Siemens high speed train destined for Egypt 🇪🇬. It currently is in Belgium for test rides (under 25 kV I heard)

In Schaarbeek, old, current and future rolling stock (the new SNCB class 17 locomotive!) were standing next to each other

I don't know the details of this specific running day. However, in any case, during that period, there are construction works on the HSL between Leuven and Ans, so the ICE will have to be rerouted via the classic line 36.
