There is one brand that we can change the batteries for in-office (in their old version), but with Phonak we cannot. We would have to send them in and Phonak charges a repair cost to do this. So if they are under 5 years old, which yours are, then it is $350/aid and then they come with a 1 year warranty. Sorry for the confusion, but wanted to get things cleared up! Melissa
