Mariners’ Museum & Park Spirit Week “dress as an artifact day”, edu team & I were the 7+ walrus [skins] to create an Umiak, found in our International Small Craft Center. The Alaskan Umiak is traditionally used by the Inuit & Yupik peoples. It translates to “open skin boat”
