I'm trying to change my relationship with my desk — Ankur Sethi Repurposing my programming workspace for creative writing by changing my pre-work ritual instead of my physical space.

Hello. Tell me your Dwarf Fortress stories. I love hearing about Dwarves.

i used to text/email those ideas to myself. these days i put them in Drafts, which is a nice little macOS/iOS app for quickly capturing text.

a few times a week i go through them and either move them into my notes or (more often) delete them because they are always completely unhinged lol.

here's what i got:

- the Steins;Gate collection (i've never watched the anime)
- Doki Doki Literature Club
- Slay the Princess (Jonathan Sims is in this!!)
- Paranormasight
- the first two Danganronpa games

i haven't read (played?) a lot of visual novels before, so this should be fun.

i just bought a bunch of visual novels in the Steam sale. excited!

i should probably go outside today, but it's difficult to tear myself away from playing Arco, reading this Elsie Silver book, and napping with the cats.

i have an Automator script to move screenshots to the ~/Pictures/Screenshots/ directory and also add them to the Photos app so i can see them on my phone.

i wish there was a built-in way to do this. most of the time if i’m taking a screenshot i also want to look at it on my other devices.
