Realising the benefits of St Helena Airport: a progress updateΒ - NAO report
This report an update to the NAO's 2016 report on the St Helena airport and the FCDO's economic support of the St Helena government.
The FCDO invested Β£285m building St Helena Airport to increase self generated income on the island through tourism and to reduce UK Government aid.
However, this was over-optimistic, and tourist numbers remain low while aid has increased.

Up to 60% of buildings with dangerous cladding have not yet been identified & remediation for buildings within government's portfolio is slow.
