Maybe there is a base pay, plus a bonus based on how much they increase median pay or lower median cost of housing?

What do you think about the idea of indexing mayor, city council, legislator, etc pay to some sort of metric, like gdp-equivalent for their city/state, or median income, etc?

This is the self-care box I bring to my 9 am class. I tell people to get something to eat if they haven't had breakfast yet, or if they're not going to be able to get lunch for a while. Turns out 18-year-olds love bananas and Cinnamon Toast Crunch bars.
