Massive amount of Sloes this year, a loaded tree at the end of my driveway. The birds will have a feast!...... EXCEPT this tree has been marked with a red cross and is due to be felled because council have deemed it is dead or dying. Some signs of decay but tree is very much alive. #trees #uktrees

Bird feather
Found this feather in a patch of woodland with open fields nearby, Chilterns hills today. Anyone know the which bird it came from? I thought a hawk or Buzzard but cannot find photos that match it. It is 20cm long.
